I played PS4 version. Looked nice. However: many slowdowns, framerate dips under 30 a lot. Devs promised = old build. Will see Combat system improved. Much more fluid. No more delayed animations. Attacks connect better. Dev laughed at "Keep on rollin" joke World is very big. Has an area system similar to Dragon Age: Inquisition. Multiple big open zones. I saw about 4 or 5 on the world map Enemies have level displayed. Hard to beat when like 4-5 levels above you, but not impossible. Skilled players can beat them Dev advised everyone to play on "easy" but I tried normal because experienced. Had no trouble. Never died. Griffin fight still easy Sidequests feel more important. Much interaction & convo options. Team tried their best to make sidequests big part of main story too Played about three hours. Saw less than 5%. Hard to say how interesting all sidecontent will be 50hrs in, but so far things look good. Console versions look good, impressive for multiplatform. But differences between PC are noticeable. Don't expect 1:1 experience on PS4 It's hard to say how much optimization the game will get, but PS4 dropped A LOT under 30fps. Bothered me. However, was old build. Hmmm, Dragon Age was more stable from a framerate point-of-view, but I'm not gonna lie enjoyed The Witcher 3 more.
