This article contains spoilers for Final Fantasy VII. Hojo trying to make Aeris and Red have sex. Imagine this in HD. Red XIII first appears in ShinRa HQ, where Hojo has imprisoned him and Aeris in a cell together. Hojo states that he is attempting to breed Aeris and Red XIII, because Aeris is (supposedly) the last surviving Ancient and he wants more samples to experiment on. Why does Hojo believe that Red XIII and Aeris can be successfully bred? Could it be that Red XIII… is an Ancient? Consider what we know about Red XIII’s species: They have a very long lifespan, just like the Ancients. They live in harmony with the Planet, just like the Ancients. The inhabitants of Cosmo Canyon dedicate their lives to learning about and communicating with the Planet, just as the Ancients did. Let’s not forget that these dogs have the unexplained ability to talk—and if Red XIII is any indication, they’re extraordinarily intelligent. How about the part where the Ancient Forest is right beside Cosmo Canyon? Is all of this coincidence, or is it subtle storytelling? But if Red XIII is an Ancient, why is he a dog? Aeris and Ifalna, her mother, don’t look like dogs to me! The Ancients are clearly a humanoid species. Believe it or not, this can be explained. Ifalna states, “That’s when the one who injured the Planet… or the ‘crisis from the sky’, as we call him, came. He first approached as a friend, deceived them, and finally…… gave them the virus. The Cetra were attacked by the virus and went mad… transforming into monsters. Then, just as he had at the Knowlespole. He approached other Cetra clans…… infecting them with… the virus…” According to this word for word transcription (I apologize for FF7’s irresponsible usage of ellipses), derived from a conversation that can be accessed in-game via Icicle Inn, Jenova transformed entire clans of Cetra (Ancients) into “monsters” via a virus. Could it be that Red XIII’s species is actually composed of Ancients who were transformed by this virus, and retained the ability to think and speak? Could Cosmo Canyon have been the site of one of these Cetra “clans”? It would explain a lot: why Cosmo Canyon is so in tune with the Planet, and why it resides right next to the Ancient Forest. Vlakorados on left, Blood Taste on right There are multiple red, doglike monsters in the game who appear in random enemy battles across the world. Could these be Ancients who were so twisted by Jenova’s virus that they didn’t retain their minds like Red XIII did? One of them, Vlakorados, only appears right outside of the Northern Crater—the very site at which Jenova crashed into the Planet and turned those first naïve Ancients into monsters. What about the War of the Gi, the battle that turned Red XIII’s father, Seto, to stone? We know very little about the Gi—only that they invaded Cosmo Canyon, and that their ghosts appear humanoid. But why were they attacking Red XIII’s people? I’ll tell you why: The Gi were attacking the monsters that Jenova had created via its virus. The Gi were convinced that Red XIII’s people, just like all of the other monsters that Jenova had created, were dangerous beasts that needed to be exterminated. The Gi didn’t care that Red XIII’s clan was “peaceful”—the rest of the transformed Ancients, who had lost their minds completely, were not. Surely it was only a matter of time before Red XIII’s clan turned bestial as well. The Gi Tribe: Random attackers, or ancient Cetra? Maybe the Gi were Ancients themselves—Ancients who were not infected by Jenova’s virus. Maybe Cosmo Canyon had been inhabited by the Gi clan at some point, and maybe half of the clan had gotten infected by the virus, sparking a civil war. Maybe Cosmo Canyon had never existed at all until most of the Ancient Forest was burned down during the war, leaving behind the scarred and barren Cosmo Canyon in its wake. The game does make it clear that the Gi employ a great deal of fire. All of this, of course, is just educated speculation. None of this is ever stated outright—but FF7 rarely ever spells anything out for the player. Remember when Sephiroth broke into ShinRa HQ and stabbed the President in the back? Remember how that wasn’t Sephiroth at all? I doubt you’ll remember the giant claw marks throughout ShinRa HQ, but they were there, along with the blood and bodies of ShinRa’s employees. A sword doesn’t make claw marks—a monster does. Jenova does. The game never outright states that Jenova, in its abominable monster form, careens through ShinRa HQ and slaughters everyone within, but that’s exactly what happens. To this day, few people understand exactly what instances of Sephiroth were actually him instead of the polymorphic Jenova. To this day, some people believe that Cloud is a “clone”, and most don’t understand that the WEAPONs were the Planet’s attempts at assassinating all of humanity. Unlike most modern RPGs, FF7 left much to the imagination—but the evidence was always there, no matter how subtle. Could Red XIII be the descendant of an Ancient who was transformed by Jenova’s virus? Was Cosmo Canyon once the site of a Cetra clan? Why would Hojo try to breed Aeris with a “dog” instead of a human, who appear a much more similar species at first glance? Did Hojo know that Red XIII had enough Ancient in him to be able to breed with Aeris? I think he did. And I think Red XIII—Nanaki—is an Ancient. Cytuj Odnośnik do komentarza

Kolor materii nie jest przypadkowy, takie fioletowe materie, właśnie jak all, można łączyć z innymi materiami, co daje jakieś rożne efekty do danej materii. Np. ty połączyłeś materię all, która jak nazwa mówi pozwala zaznaczyć wszystkich zamiast jednej osoby, z cure.
