W głównej obsadzie mamy super kobietę jedi, czarnego szturmowca comic relif, i meksykańskiego pilota ryzykanta i zawadjake. A pomimo tej różnorodności, najlepszym bohaterem jest biały płaczliwy despota z problemami ojcowskimi i wybuchami furii wzbudzającymi śmiech.

>One year after THE LAST JEDI.

>Rey repaired Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber and Kylo Ren repaired his helmet.

>Kylo Ren has united private armies and militas under The First Order to strengthen his faction against any opposition to his rule.

>Kylo demoted Hux, who has been secretly leaking intel about the First Order's activities to the Resistance in hopes that they kill Kylo, allowing him to reclaim command.

>The Knights of Ren return from an expedition to "The Beyond" with warnings of a great evil, which makes Kylo vulnerable and sends him on "a quest", and also informs his interactions with Rey throughout the movie.

>The Knights of Ren wield "medieval-looking weapons" and some of them can use the Force.

>There's a new faction of red Stormtroopers that apparently serve the Knights of Ren.

>Kylo either seeks out or is summoned by a new character/creature that is being referred as "The Oracle", that supposedly lives on the swamp planet as a parasite feeding off a slumbering giant purple elf baby thing.

>The plot revolves around the race to find a MacGuffin described as "controversial, but delightful". It changes over the course of the movie, starting as one thing, which leads to something else, which ends up revealing the big secret of the movie. It is supposed to be something related to C-3PO's old memory that was erased in REVENGE OF THE SITH.

>C-3PO's memory is in an old Rebel blockade runner on a jungle planet. Rey, Poe, Finn, Chewbacca, C-3P0, R2-D2 and BB-8 set to retrieve it.

>The heroes find the blockade runner with help from Lando Calrissian. He has a minor role, basically pointing where they need to go and later joining the battle piloting the Millennium Falcon.

>Rose also has a minor role. She is now a high-ranking Resistance officer answering directly to Leia and doesn't get in on the action.

>Dominic Monaghan is playing a Resistance leader.

>Richard E. Grant is playing the new general of the First Order, Hux's replacement.
>Once C-3PO's memory is retrieved, the heroes goes to a snow planet with a huge alien marketplace and an abandoned droid factory, which they visit.

>Apparently the memories of a warrior robot are uploaded into C-3P0, causing him to develop an aggressive personality and take the bowcaster from Chewie.

>C-3P0 reluctantly has his memory uploaded to R2-D2 while his body stores the warrior robot's memory, which leads to funny situations.

>There's a First Order attack on the droid factory, but the heroes escape with help from Keri Russell's character Zorii, a bounty hunter with no allegiance.

>It is also at the factory that they meet BB-8's sidekick D-0, who might be connected to Zorii.

>Meanwhile, in the swamp planet, there's a battle between the Resistance and the First Order. Kylo fights the Resistance fighters, but gets separated from the main battle for some reason.

>Ahch-To will appear in the movie.

>The final battle was filmed in the Cardington Sheds (previously used to film scenes on Yavin IV).

>The final battle reportedly takes place at Kylo's spaceship and has a "zero gravity" factor.

>Kylo is heavily injured during the final battle (lots of injury makeup/fake blood).

>The Knights of Ren are involved in the final battle, but apparently AGAINST Kylo.

>There are multiple Luke & Leia flashbacks.

>Harrison Ford and Hayden Christensen reportedly make appearances as Han Solo and Anakin Skywalker.

>No confirmation on whether Leia lives or dies in the end.

>The great evil, whatever it is, appears to relate to Palpatine. Early drafts for Episode VII featured an ancient scroll belonging to Palpatine that was the key to an "ancient power" as the MacGuffin; and early drafts for Episode VIII included Sith spirits tormenting Luke in Ahch-To although Siths canonically cannot become Force ghosts. A popular theory is that Palpatine found a way to preserve his spirit after Darth Vader destroyed his body and is returning from a dormant period in the Beyond to reclaim the galaxy.

>Matt Smith has a secret role in the movie. Reports indicated he was a First Order officer, but there is word he relates to the great evil and whatever Palpatine's role in the movie is.

>Jordan was used as a filming location for TWO desert planets, one which is probably Tatooine.

>The movie ends on Tatooine and the Lars homestead is involved.

>The movie supposedly concludes the "Skywalker Saga" of the Star Wars, so Kylo probably redeems himself as he is the last Skywalker.


>At one point, Kylo goes to a dark castle-looking building. A monkey-looking creature was on the set.

>Once Rey figures out the MacGuffin's secret, the heroes end up on the desert planet.

>Whatever Kylo is looking for also leads him to the desert planet, where he encounters Rey once again. They still have feelings for each other.

>Finn and Poe go on a mission together which has a "western vibe". Rey and Rose also have their own mission.

>Apparently Rey and Kylo have to reconcile and join forces against the great evil, which steers Kylo towards redemption.

>At some point, Finn and Poe cross paths with Naomie Ackie's character, Jannah, who is skilled warrior, freedom fighter and might be Finn's long-lost sister.

>The heroes celebrate being reunited at a festival of sorts before the final battle.

>Kylo's spaceship crash-lands at some point during the final battle.

>There is concept art of the Falcon in flames during the final battle.
